Here's a SIMPLE SABBATH CHALLENGE that involves choosing ANY 3 of the following options:

  • Go home and take a nap. A LONG ONE, if possible.
  • Eat something good that you REALLY enjoy.
  • Do something relaxing. Watch a TV program or movie you’ve been wanting to see; listen to a podcast you’ve been saving or to good music; take a walk.
  • Call someone you’ve been meaning to call. Catch up and reconnect.
  • Read a portion of Scripture and take a moment to ponder what it says.
  • Remember all the ways you’ve experienced the goodness of God this week – and give thanks.
  • Sit quietly with God for 10 minutes.
