Music is an important part of praise and worship at Starkville GMC. We are privileged to have an Adult Choir, a faithful group who generously offer their gift of music to create a place where the Holy Spirit is welcomed. Our music director, Shawn Sullivan leads the congregation in traditional hymns and modern praise choruses.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir, leads the congregation in singing every Sunday and sings a beautiful anthem two Sundays per month. The choir is open to anyone with no auditions required.
The choir holds rehearsals on Wednesdays at 5:30 – 6:45 PM at the Starkville GMC Office Building on Vine Street. Shawn Sullivan, who directs the choir, has experience in brass ensemble and handbells. Carole Sorenson is our accomplished pianist.

The Adult Choir presented "The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols" on December 8. Thanks to the choir, Shawn, Carole, guest musicians, and congregation for a moving worship experience.,
