NextGen ministry

NextGen Ministry invests in the future of SGMC by guiding students in Grades 7–12, college students, and young adults as they grow in lasting faith and community. We invite you to reach out to Rev. J Nelson, our Next-Gen Pastor, and other faith leaders listed below, who care deeply about helping our next generation grow in Christ.

Student Ministry

Students in Grades 7–12 connect in a variety of ways as they grow in faith and community:

  • Wednesday small groups at Starkville Academy
  • Weekly Prayer Breakfast (day/place TBD)
  • Monthly fellowship events
  • Church camp and mission projects
  • Sunday morning groups at 9 AM

Our fall schedule will be updated soon. Please reach out to Rev. J Nelson, Next‑Gen Pastor, for current meeting times and details.
